PEGASUS COURIER SRL in collaboration with OPEN DOOR MEDICAL CENTER, in Bucharest are supporting the charitable project of Dr. MARIEH AKBARZADEH (UK), project which is aiming to provide professional dental consultation & treatment to aprox. 50 disadvantaged children coming from Placement Center nr1 and Placement Center nr.9 in Bucharest.

Dr. Marieh Akbarzadeh is a qualified British doctor specialized in dentistry who has generously offered her skills and vacation time in order to treat disadvantaged Romanian children. Dr Akbarzadeh managed to raise €7000 in materials and donations in the UK in order to make this project possible.

The consultations will take place between 23rd of September and 7th of October at the Open Door Medical Center, situated in Prelungirea Ghencea nr. 27, run by Dr Milton & Linda Hanson, where a significant number of disadvantaged individuals benefit of free medical assistance.

Pegasus Courier have come with the concept of this project, obtained all the necessary approvals and took care of all the organizing details. Also Pegasus will provide to Dr. Akbarzadeh accommodation for her staying in Bucharest.

Funded in 1997, Pegasus Courier, Romanian company with British social capital, introduced the first intra city 2h delivery service in Bucharest and now provides as well Domestic and International Express delivery services. In time our company developed by offering a larger variety of services (Bucharest Express, Bucharest Mailshot, Romania Express, Global Express&Freight, Pegasus Floral, Direct Mail and Sampling) respecting higher standards and providing high quality services for its clients: rapidity, security and flexibility.

Pegasus have always been socially responsible by supporting various charitable projects (in collaboration with Save the Children, Pestalozzi, Fundatia Principesa Margareta, Special Olympic, Casa Buburuza) in the benefit of institutionalized children or by hiring youth coming from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The present project is part of our Corporate Policy to give something back to the local community, especially by offering support to the youth.

Information about beneficiaries: 35 girls and 35 boys, aged between 6�20, coming form the mentioned placement centers.

Special mention: all the approvals from the relevant authorities were grounted for this project.
